Why SGA?
We are experts with integrity and deliver quality services on schedule.
SGA ENGINEERS is humbled by our extensive history of repeat client projects where we work directly with architects, engineers, owners, manufacturers, and vendors alike. We value our clients with the clear understanding that they are the core of our business. We do not chase projects; we build relationships with people aligned with our core values who appreciate our values and execution of accurate and precise services.
Our teammates have direct, hands-on installation experience and understand the construction industry. We step beyond the engineering design realm and understand installation clearances, phasing, spooling, sequencing, serviceability requirements, and project scheduling.
Our passion for our work is evident in the quality of our designs and the involvement of our professionals. Each member of our team is just that - a trusted teammate for your project. We do not hand off projects after award; the teammate you originally meet will be the teammate who sees it through providing quality services throughout the design process. No matter the size of your project, our professionals can provide the proper level of involvement and guidance to deliver a successful project.
Our team of seasoned professionals is a collection of the best in the business. We're committed to building a team of the most talented people in the consulting industry.

In conjunction with contractors, Jared has led the charge for detailed coordination modeling efforts which minimize field changes and streamline construction by installers. Utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM) and artificial intelligence (AI) during all stages of the project permits Jared to provide a quick and simple bill of material for take-offs and procurement. Jared’s strengths include integrated lean project delivery, enhanced commissioning, LEED design efforts, and building automation control system sequence and integration. His approach to leveraging several communication channels allow for constant contact with design and construction teams alike. Jared is a member of The United States Green Building Council and The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers where his active membership provides insight into emerging technologies and sound engineering principles.
Jared enjoys the collaborative and team environment of consulting. In addition, he thoroughly enjoys mentoring students and other engineers in the challenging and rewarding field of engineering design. He gives back to the community by serving as a volunteer on several boards and organizations in the area, including ACE, where he directly impacts students interested in Architecture, Construction or Engineering. Jared is a resource for master planning, technical design, code compliance, BIM, and construction installations. He is a subject-matter expert in airborne infectious disease and mitigation through layered approaches within design and construction.
